今回はグランパのボートでのお話。
英語圏のアニメや絵本では、船乗りや海賊用語が時々出てきますので、こちらが参考になると思います🤗

ようこそ我が船へ、仲間たち。(海賊用語で仲間たち、兄弟の意味。me=myがなまったものらしいです。)
Granny Pig: Peppa, George, let's put your life jackets on.
ペッパ、ジョージ、ライフジャケットを着ましょう。
Narrator: When Peppa and George are on Grandpa Pig's boat, they must wear life jackets.
ペッパとジョージがグランパピッグのボートに乗る時は、必ずライフジャケットを着なければいけません。
Grandpa Pig: On this boat, I'm the captain.
このボートでは、私がキャプテン(船長)だ。
Granny Pig: Aye aye, captain!
アイアイ、キャプテン！(了解の意味。海賊、船乗り用語)
Peppa Pig: Aye aye, captain!
アイアイ、キャプテン！
Grandpa Pig: When captain Grandpa tells you all to do something, you must do it.
キャプテングランパが君らに何かをするように言ったら、必ずしないといけないよ。
Granny Pig: Unless it's something silly.
それがバカげたことでないならね。
Grandpa Pig: Captain Grandpa never says anything silly.
キャプテングランパはバカなことは決して言わないのさ。
Granny Pig: Of course not, Captain Grandpa.
もちろんしないでしょうよ、キャプテングランパ。
Grandpa Pig: George! Raise the flag!
ジョージ！旗を上げろ！
Grandpa Pig: Peppa! Ring the bell!
ペッパ、ベルを鳴らして！
Peppa Pig: Aye aye, Captain!
アイアイ、キャプテン！
Grandpa Pig: Granny Pig! Take the wheel!
グラニーピッグ！舵をとれ！
Granny Pig: Aye aye, Captain!
アイアイ、キャプテン！
Grandpa Pig: Full sail!
全速力！
Peppa Pig: Full sail!

Granny Pig: Maybe you should go a little slower, Grandpa Pig.
ねえ少しゆっくりにすべきじゃない、グランパピッグ。
Grandpa Pig: Good idea, Granny Pig. I don't want to use up all my petrol.
いい考えだね、グラニーピッグ。燃料を使い果たしたくないからね。
Peppa Pig: Grandpa, I liked it when we went fast.
グランパ、私好きだったのに、速かったのが。
Grandpa Pig: Don't worry, Peppa. We'll go fast later!
大丈夫、ペッパ。また後で速くするからね。
Peppa Pig: Look! There's another boat!
見て！他のボートがいるよ！
Narrator: Here's Granddad Dog. He's taking Danny Dog out for a day on the river.
こちらはグランダッドドッグ。彼はダニードッグを連れて川に来ています。
Grandpa Pig: Ahoy there, Granddad Dog!
おーい(船乗り用語で他船への呼びかけに使う言葉)、グランダッドドッグ！
Granddad Dog: Ahoy there, Grandpa Pig!
おーい、グランパピッグ！
Peppa Pig: Hello, Danny!
ハロー、ダニー！
Danny Dog: Hello, Peppa!
ハロー、ペッパ！
Narrator: Granddad Dog is Grandpa Pig's very best friend.
グランダッドドッグはグランパピッグの大親友です。
Grandpa Pig: I'm surprised your boat is still afloat, Granddad Dog. It must be almost as old as you are.
驚いたよ、君のボートがまだ浮いているなんて、グランダッドドッグ。君とほぼ同じくらい年寄りに違いない。
Granddad Dog: This old boat can go faster than your rusty bucket any day, Grandpa Pig.
この古いボートはお前のサビだらけのバケツよりいつでも早いのさ、グランパピッグ。
Grandpa Pig: All right, you old sea dog. Race you.
そうかい、年寄りの海いぬ。競争だ。
(sea dog=あざらしや熟練の航海士などの意味も辞書にありましたが、ここは単に悪口として使っていると思われます。)
Granddad Dog: Prepare to lose, water hog.
負ける準備をしておけよ、水ぶた。
(こちらも悪口)
Granny Pig: You two are acting like little children.
2人とも小さな子供のようですよ。
Grandpa Pig: Granddad Dog called me a water hog.
グランダッドドッグが私を水ぶたと言ったんだ。
Peppa Pig: You called him a sea dog first, Grandpa. You should say sorry.
最初に彼をシードッグと呼んだんじゃない、グランパ。あやまるべきよ。
Grandpa Pig: Only if he says sorry first.
彼が先にあやまるならね。
Danny Dog: Granddad, say sorry to Grandpa Pig. He is your best friend.
グランダッド、グランパピッグにあやまらないと。彼は親友でしょ。
Granddad Dog: No. He's a water hog and my boat is faster than his.
いいや。彼は水ぶたで私のボートの方が速い。
Grandpa Pig: All right, sea dog. Let's race to the next bridge.
そうか、海いぬ。次の橋まで競争だ。
Granddad Dog: On the count of three.
3カウントで。
Grandpa Pig: One... two...
1，2，
Granddad Dog: Go!
ゴー！
Grandpa Pig: You started too soon.
スタートが早すぎるぞ。
Granddad Dog: Catch me if you can, water hog!
追いつけるなら来てみろ、水ぶた！
Grandpa Pig: Sea dog!
海いぬ！
Grandpa Pig: Is that as fast as you can go?
それで精一杯の速さか？
Grandpa Pig: Can't catch me!
追いつけないだろ！
Grandpa Pig: I win!
私の勝ちだ！
Narrator: Oh, dear. Grandpa Pig's boat has run out of petrol.
おやおや。グランパピッグのボートは燃料が切れてしまいました。
Granny Pig: Very clever, Captain Grandpa.
とても賢いわね、キャプテングランパ。
Grandpa Pig: Maybe I did go a bit too fast.
少し速くしすぎたようだ。
Granny Pig: How will we get home?
どうやってお家へ帰るの？
Peppa Pig: Look, there's Granddad Dog.
見て、グランダッドドッグがいるよ。
Granny Pig: Granddad Dog can tow us home.
グランダッドドッグなら私たちを家へ引っ張って行ってくれるわ。
Grandpa Pig: I'm not being towed by that sea dog.
私はあの海いぬには牽引されないぞ。
Granddad Dog: I haven't offered to tow the water hog.
私は水ぶたを牽引しない。
Granny Pig: Will you two ever grow up?
2人とも成長しないの？
Peppa Pig: Grandpa, say sorry to Granddad Dog.
グランパ、ごめんねってグランダッドドッグに言って。
Grandpa Pig: I'm sorry I called you a sea dog.
悪かったよ、海いぬなんて言って。
Danny Dog: Granddad, say sorry to Grandpa Pig.
グランダッド、ごめんねってグランパピッグに言って。
Granddad Dog: I'm sorry I called you a water hog.
悪かったよ、水ぶたなんて言って。
Granny Pig: That's nice. Granddad Dog, would you be so kind as to tow us home?
ああ良かった。グランダッドドッグ、私たちを家まで牽引して頂けないかしら？
Granddad Dog: It would be my pleasure, madam.
もちろん喜んで、マダム。
Granddad Dog: Catch this, Captain!
これを受け取れ、キャプテン！
Grandpa Pig: Aye aye, skipper!
アイアイ、船長！
